Ideas & Insights

Ideas Worth Exploring. Conversations Worth Having.

Sophie Newbould has spent more than two decades questioning established thinking, exploring complex challenges and looking for opportunities to create meaningful value.

Her writing brings together academic research, professional experience, entrepreneurship and a fascination with the relationships between people, organisations and the wider world.

Different subjects. Different decades. One continuing curiosity: what could we do differently?

About the author

The Thinking Behind the Speaking

Sophie Newbould holds a Master's degree in International Business Law and has built a career spanning legal practice, government, commercial strategy and entrepreneurship.

Her publications explore international transactions, procurement, legality, corporate accountability, public services and economic opportunity.

Earlier publications appeared under Sophie's former name, Sophie Kavanagh.

Ideas Are Meant to Be Shared.

Some ideas begin as research. Others emerge from experience. The most powerful become conversations that change how we think, lead and act.

Sophie brings intellectual curiosity, commercial experience and a personal perspective to the stage — exploring trust, leadership, resilience, relationships and the courage to recognise opportunity.
